The Story Behind Pixel Castle

The hand-drawn illustrations featured in the Utopia jigsaw puzzle series were created as an outlet during a trauma-induced 5 year long existential crash out. During that time, I made a series of life choices that led to my eventual complete detachment from society. It all culminated in my decision to design a jigsaw puzzle line based on this illustration series of (currently) eight, which would become the first product line to launch Pixel Castle, my creative venture fueled by reckless ambition and the desire to survive creatively & independently.


Now, starting from nothing, I, Dijla, the creator of Pixel Castle, present to the world the beginning of my first product line: the first three of the Utopia jigsaw puzzle series. Made for all the people of the universe.
